- Pour fermer le chimichanga, le rouler à la façon d'un nem ou d'un rouleau de printemps. S'ils ne tiennent pas fermés, ne pas hésiter à les maintenir avec des cure-dents.
- Faire chauffer un petit bain d'huile de friture et y déposer les chimichangas pour les faire colorer. Les réserver ensuite sur du papier absorbant.
- Option de dressage : les déposer sur un lit de laitue émincée et napper de guacamole et/ou de crème fraîche épaisse. Vous pouvez également les accompagner de riz et haricots rouges.
