- 5-6 cashews
- 3 cloves
- as requried Curry leaves
- 1 tbsp peanuts
Instructions to make to make Dal khichadi
- Take a bowl and add rice, tuvar dal & moong dal wash it and soak it for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile cut all the veggies like potato, onion, tomato, capsicum, carrot, etc.



- Now take a pressure cooker and add ghee and oil and ghee, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, cloves, tamal Patra and saute it well



- Next, add peanuts, cashews and stir well.


- Further add all the veggies like capsicum, carrot stir well. After that add potato and saute it well. After 3 minutes add onion and tomato and combine all the veggies well.

- Next, add water around 3 cups and add spices like turmeric, cumin-coriander powder, red chilly powder, salt, khichadi masala, and stir well.



- Once the first boil is come then close the lid of the cooker and boil it for 4-5 whistles.

- Dal khichadi is ready. Enjoy with Gujarati kadhi, curd, methi masala, etc.
